The director, an appeals tribunal, any member of the board of appeals created by the industrial relations law, or any authorized representative of the director may require from such employer or employing unit such reports covering persons employed by him or it, or employment, wages, hours, unemployment, and related matters as are necessary to the effective administration of this chapter.
